Lecture Overview

In October 2019, the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety released their Interim Report, entitled 'Neglect'. 'The neglect that we have found in this Royal Commission ... [describes] a sad and shocking system that diminishes Australia as a nation', an accompanying media release said. A year on, aged care consultant Rilla Roberts presents on some of the Royal Commission's initial findings, highlighting this neglect and missed comprehensive care, in an effort to understand where the system failed and what can be done to improve care practices around the country.
