Ausmed is pleased to support the announcement of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Journal’s ‘Learning and Career Hub’.

At a time when nurses, midwives and carers are on the frontline of a global pandemic, the ANMJ has released its new supportive resource.

The online portal aims to offer industry-focused news and advice for nurses, midwives, carers and students, at a time when support is most needed.

Features of the ANMJ Learning and Career Hub include:

  • Graduate and Student Resources
    • A hub especially for new grads and students, with stories, advice and tips from both early career and experienced nurses looking to share their own experiences and advice.
  • Courses and Scholarships
    • If you’re looking for further study but not sure what you want to do, the Courses and Scholarships page is a great place to start. It offers a list of courses around Australia, both in-person and online.
  • Jobs
    • Searching for something new? The Learning and Career Hub has a page dedicated to healthcare jobs available around Australia.
  • Career News, Advice and Role Models
    • A range of stories offering interviews from leading industry professionals, the latest career advice and more updates that concern you.

‘Through the Learning and Career Hub we are offering [nurses and midwives] avenues to help them with their day to day practice in unprecedented times,’ ANMF Federal Secretary, Annie Butler said.

‘In particular, the Hub will assist students, new graduates and those returning to the workforce to potentially unfamiliar settings, who may feel they need extra support at the moment.’

‘We believe the addition of the new Learning and Career Hub to the ANMJ website is a much-needed resource which will help every nurse, midwife, carer and student navigate and enhance their careers.’
