What is Dementia?

9m of CPD
Dementia is the term used for a collection of symptoms that are caused by disorders affecting the brain - it is not one specific disease. Dementia should not be considered a ‘normal’ part of ageing. Although it’s more common after 65 years of age, it can happen to anybody.
