Biography

Kate is a registered nurse specialising in clinical governance, with expertise in health and medical law. As Chair of the Nursing Regulation Faculty at the Australian College of Nursing, Kate focuses on simplifying complex regulatory frameworks to support nurses in expanding their scope of practice. She works across both government and private sectors, helping healthcare professionals navigate legislation, regulation, and evidence-based practice. Passionate about empowering the next generation of nurses, Kate also mentors students, guiding them in leadership and career development.
