Biography
Ashleigh Dodd is an experienced disability and community services leader with over 20 years of frontline and executive experience across diverse human services sectors, including disability, mental health, youth work, aged care, and allied support services. She has held senior leadership roles, including statewide management and General Manager of disability support services, where she led multidisciplinary teams and championed person‑centred, rights‑based practice. Ashleigh has guided complex disability, mental health, birth‑to‑death, and aged care services through significant sector change by embedding inclusive practice, strengthening governance, and driving continuous improvement. She brings practical frontline experience to capability development work as a qualified trainer and assessor in disability and community services. Her education includes qualifications in disability, mental health, community services, and training and assessment, as well as education in community services practice. Ashleigh also holds specialised certifications in end‑of‑life and birth support, reflecting a holistic approach to care across the lifespan. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to culturally sensitive, rights‑based care that empowers individuals to live with choice, independence, and dignity.
